Engineers from Gatan and Hitachi High-Technologies gave us a series of training course
An engineer from Gatan, Mr. Gang Wu and one from Hitachi High-Technologies, Mr. Xianghui Jin came to CAMP-Nano and gave us a series of training course from Feb. 27th to Mar. 2nd.
Mr. Wu from Gatan firstly installed the EELS and two CCD cameras onto the HRTEM, JEM-2100F and then gave us an instruction on the mechanism and operation of GIF and CCD camera. Xidan Xie and Xiaoguang Wang were selected to be trained in this.
At the same time, Mr Jin from Hitachi High-Technologies completed the installation of the Hitachi Model H-9500 Environmental TEM. Then he, together with a Japanese engineer, made a series of training on the H-9500 system overview, fundamental operations, software functions, maintenance, etc. Meng Li, Penghan Lu and Qinqin Fu have been trained in this. Besides, a further training will be taken in April by the application engineers from Hitachi High-Technologies.
