4 CAMPers, Prof. Zhiwei Shan, Prof. Weizhong Han, Prof. Zhangjie Wang and Dr. Boyu Liu attended the TMS 2016 Annual Meeting, Nashville, Feb. 14 - 18.

During the meeting, Prof. Zhiwei Shan gave two invited talked. One was “In Situ Investigation of the Mechanical Behavior of Micronanoscaled Metallic Glasses” in the session of “Bulk Metallic Glasses XIII — Structures and Characterization”; the other one was “In Situ TEM Investigation on the Mechanical Behaviour of Micronanoscaled Single Crystal Titanium and Magnesium” in the session of “In Operando Nano- and Micro-mechanical Characterization of Materials with Special Emphasis on In Situ Techniques — In-Situ Characterization of Mechanical Properties of Materials IV”.  

Prof. Weizhong Han gave a talk of “Design of Radiation Tolerant Materials via Interface Engineering” in the session of “Materials and Fuels for the Current and Advanced Nuclear Reactors V — Structural Materials II”.  

Prof. Zhangjie Wang gave a talk of “Oxygen Induced Softening of Deep-submicron Cu Nanopillars” in the session of “In Operando Nano- and Micro-mechanical Characterization of Materials with Special Emphasis on In Situ Techniques — In-Situ Characterization of Mechanical Properties of Materials II”. 

Dr. Boyu Liu gave a talk of “Non-dislocation Based Room Temperature Plastic Deformation Mechanism in Magnesium” in the session of “Magnesium Technology 2016”.
