Prof. Shan Gave a Talk to Undergraduates
Prof. Shan, the executive director of CAMP-Nano gave a talk on life and career at the invitation of Class Material 01 from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. It began at 8 pm on Mar. 3rd in Room 210, MSE building.
Prof. Shan firstly shared his study and work experience and discussed the difference between job and career. Many students joined in the discussion and showed their own opinions. Then, he gave a brief introduction of CAMP-Nano, including the outstanding people, advancing equipment, exciting research, etc. In the end, Prof. Shan and other campers answered some questions raised by undergraduates, which made them know more about how to have a meaningful life in the university.
After this talk, monitor of Class Material 01 presented him with a beautiful gift to express their thanks. Then a graduate student, Jingchun Wan showed them around the office and laboratory of CAMP-Nano.
