The setup and training of the new Protochips Aduro sample holder was held on January 24th and 25th. Steve Shannon, vice president of Protochips, Benjamin Jacobs, engineer from Protochips, and two application engineers from Tegent (Beijing) visited CAMP-Nano.
On the morning of the first day, the presentation of the Protochips Aduro sample holder was given by Benjamin Jacobs.
After the presentation, the double tile sample holder was set up on the JEOL 2100F TEM and the single tile sample holder was set up on Hitachi H-9500 ETEM. During this period, the heating test and electrical biasing test were successively done. Meanwhile, five campers, Yuanbin Qin, one of the technical staff, Lin Tian, a PhD student, and Fei Ai, Meng Li, Penghan Lu, three graduates joined this setup and training.
On the evening of January 25th, a conclusion meeting was held in the technique office. With Prof. Shan, Steve Shannon, Benjamin, and several campers, the problems during the setup and training were discussed and concluded.
The problems during the setup and training were discussed and concluded.
Through the tests of the training, Aduro really enables real-time, dynamic thermal and electrical analysis in a fast, versatile and easy-to-use package. And we hope that it can make a significant and due contribution to our future research.
