Congratulations to camper Lan Lv’s won the “Excellent Undergraduate Graduation Thesis of Xi’an Jiaotong University”
On October 30th, 2012, the teaching affair office of Xi’an Jiaotong University published the winners list of “Excellent Undergraduate Graduation Thesis of Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2012”. CAMP-Nano graduate student Lan Lv ( has graduated as a Bachelor in July, 2012) won that award as the unique winner in the school of materials science and engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University with her graduation thesis titled “Size Effect of phase transformation route of Cu-Al-Ni shape memory alloy”. This graduation thesis was advised by Prof. Zhiwei Shan, the Executive Director of CAMP-Nano. This thesis mainly focused on the size effect and used in situ TEM compression tests to study the mechanical behavior of 2H martensite in [101]-oriented Cu-Al-Ni single crystal nano-pillars.
