Prof. Zhiwei Shan recommended as Vice President of N-MTR
Prof.Zhiwei Shan, Executive Director of CAMP-Nano (Center for Advancing Materials Performance from the Nanoscale) and Deputy Dean of the school of material science and engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University, was recommended as Vice President of N-MTR (National Materials New Technology Development Research Institute) due to the scientific achievements and extraordinary contributions he has made during the past years in the field of materials on June 20, 2014.
N-MTR is known by the public as a comprehensive social association consisted of academic institutions, research centers and prestigious professors as well as enterprises engaged in the materials production, and it has been acting as the legal and independent leading level association in the research and development of new materials since founded.
Under the deliberate evaluation of the General Council and Secretariat of N-MTR (National Materials New Technology Development Research Institute), Prof. Shan was attached with great importance and he will take in charge of the position of Vice President of N-MTR for 5 years lasting from June 20, 2014 to June 20, 2019.
