Amar Georgeson gave a lively lecture on how to improve oral English at MSE 205 on the afternoon of Dec 18,2014. Faculties and students of CAMP-Nano participated.
Amar Georgeson began his life in China just after the Spring Festival in 2008. Since that Winter day, Amar has taught 1000s of students at various institutions across Xi’an, most recently settling at Jiaotong University for his third year with the Foreign Languages Graduate Center. His degrees are in Asian and International Studies (B.A.), English Language Teaching for Adults (Cambridge CELTA Certificate), and Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (M.A.). He is also does supportive work for the British Council on the IELTS examination. In his spare time, Amar enjoys drinking tea and spending time in the mountains.
