Subject Consultative Group, an expert organization under the leadership of Academic Degree Commission of the State Council, mainly focuses on the consulting, research, supervision, and examination work of postgraduate education. The members of the Group, generally the specialists and scholars with high-level scholarship, rich experience of guiding doctor-postgraduates and remarkable achievements in scientific research, are recommended by colleges and universities nationwide and then selected by the Commission.
