Prof. Zhiwei Shan gave an invited report during the workshop on large scale equipments management
Prof. Zhiwei Shan, Director of CAMP-Nano was invited to attend the workshop on large scale equipments sharing platform construction and operation management in the colleges and universities held in Kunming, Yunnan province on June 13th, and he gave the report titled “The exploration and practice of sustainable management mode on large scale equipments”. The report, with convincing examples and abundant data, told not only the challenges and difficulties he met but also the effective methods and ways he tried, and aroused the heated discussion among the attendees. Mr. Chuanwei Fan, a network and software engineer of CAMP-Nano also attended this workshop.
This workshop is organized by laboratory management branch of Chinese association of higher education. The responsible leaders of the ministry and departments, experts and representatives from the colleges and universities were invited to make the reports for exchanging the ideas and sharing the successful experiences leading to the lab management promotion and developments. About 300 attendees come from the colleges and universities’ departments relative to lab, equipments and assets management, also including many domestic equipments providers. The workshop will last to June 16th.
