6 CAMPers, Prof. Weizhong Han, Technician Qinqin Fu, Yuanbin Qin, Danli Zhang, Peng Zhang and Ph.D candidate Meng Li attended the 2015 Microscopy &Microanalysis annual meeting of China (M&M China) held at Oct.13-18 in Chengdu, China.
The 2015 M&M China meeting include 2 plenary meeting sessions and 6 parallel sessions. The parallel sessions are: 1. Microscopy theory, techniques, instrument developments and in-situ TEM; 2. Microstructure characterization of functional materials in energy, environment, communication et al; 3. Structural materials and defects, interfaces, surfaces, phase transformation and diffusion; 4. SEM/EBSD/STM/AFM ; 5. Biology; 6. Confocal microscopy theory and application.
During the meeting, Prof. Weizhong Han gave an invited talk titled “Compressive properties of Iron Nanoparticles and Airbone Haze Particles”, Technician Danli Zhang gave a talk titled “Analysis on micro-structure and inclusions in welding joint of X80 pipeline steel”, Ph.D candidate student Meng Li gave a talk titled “A novel MEMS based in-situ quantitative heating stage and it’s application in hydrogen induced interface failure of Al”.
