Prof. Shan Zhiwei was appointed as the dean of MSE-XJTU according to the decision made by the Party Committee of XJTU on July 5th. He gave a presentation on the challenges and opportunities of MSE, and promised to devote half of his time on the administration work with the highest enthusiasm on the inauguration ceremony.
