From 18th May to 20th May, three engineers who belong to Hitachi company came to CAMP-Nano, also known as the XJTU-Hitachi High-Tech Research & Development Center, and conducted the special operation training of Environmental TEM made by Hitachi company.
In the three-day’s training, Matsumoto, Xiwen Zhang and Wansong Li, three application engineers of Hitachi High-Tech whose job includes the maintaince of the ETEM, gave students and technicians of CAMP-Nano a wonderful training about how to operate the ETEM well. During all the training, the engineers kept patient and taught users lots of detailed operation. All of users who took part in this training considered that they learned a lot from this training, which can help them understand more about this machine.

 

 

 

Prof. Shan, dean of the school of MSE and the executive director of CAMP-Nano, also met with the engineers. Prof. Shan welcomed the engineers and expressed thanks to their special training. They talked about how to promote the cooperation between school of MSE and the Hitachi High-Tech company. More detailed information will be discussed in the coming workshop held by CAMP-Nano in the next week.
