Research interests:

· Study of microstructures such as crystallographic orientation, dislocation, twinning and strain/stress in crystals including metals, alloys, ceramics, and minerals using microscopy (SEM, FIB, TEM, nanoindentation and orientation imaging microscopy) and diffraction techniques (X-ray diffraction and electron diffraction);

· The evolution of microstructure in solders caused by electromigration characterized by synchrotron X-ray microdiffraction;

· The microstructure evolution in metals by laser selection deposition characterized by synchrotron X-ray microdiffraction;

· The microstructure study of garnet type ceramics used in the solid-state battery.
