The 12th International Symposium on the Behavior of Micro-scale and Nano-scale Materials is about to open
The 12th International Seminar on Microscale and Nanoscale Materials Behavior will be held at Nanyang Hotel from 14 to 16 August 2019. The conference was sponsored by the State Key Laboratory of Metal Material Strength of Xi'an Jiaotong University and the Center for Microscale and Nanoscale Materials Behavior Research (CAMP-Nano) of the College of Materials Science and Engineering.
The meeting included 30 invited reports and 10 oral reports. Thirty invited speakers from the United States, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Spain, Norway, France, South Korea and other places, including Oxford University, University of Sydney, University of California, Los Angeles, City University of Hong Kong, Toulouse Institute, Ohio State University, Monash University, and University of Basque, Nanyang Polytechnic University, Korean Academy of Science and Technology, Norwegian University of Science and Technology and other well-known universities and research institutions.
Up to August 1, the conference had registered more than 30 people from about 20 domestic universities and research institutes, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Shenzhen Research Institute of City University of Hong Kong, Central South University, Jilin University, Chongqing University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Beijing High Pressure Science Research Center and Metal Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Institute of Nuclear Physics and Chemistry, China Academy of Engineering Physics, and researchers from Osaka University and Korea Academy of Science and Technology registered for the conference. At the same time, our school has about 80 participants. The size of the conference is expected to be around 140 people.
On August 13, from 14:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m., registration will be held in the lobby of Nanyang Hotel. The seminar officially began at 8:00 a.m. on 14 August and ended at 17:00 p.m. on 16 August. During the meeting, 22 posters will be evaluated at 19:00 p.m. in Zhongying Building, College of Materials, Jiaotong University. With the help of this seminar, the Symposium on nanoindentation characterization and application technology will be held on the second floor of Material College on August 13. The purpose of the symposium is to promote the exchange and discussion among the researchers and technicians concerned with nanoindentation technology. The paper introduces the nanoindentation technology and the characterization methods of the Micro-properties of materials under the influence of mechanical, electrical and temperature. It also introduces the in-situ application of nanoindentation technology in electron microscopy. Performance characterization methods.
