On July 8th, the summer school hosted by CAMP-Nano came to a successful conclusion. This summer school last for three days from July 6th-8th. In this summer school, eight renowned scholars gave reports, including Prof. Yimin Gao, the Associate Dean of Materials Science and Engineering, XJTU, Prof. Jiankang Liu, the Dean of school of life science and technology, XJTU, Prof. Zhiwei Shan, the Executive Director of CAMP-Nano, Prof. Changjiu Li, the Director of Welding Institute, and so on.

Besides reports, campers also visited the laboratory of CAMP-Nano and watched the demo experiments. Demo experiments including Environmental TEM Demo Experiments (Hitachi H-9500); FIB Demo Experiments; Multifunctional Nanomechanical Tests (Hysitron TI 950); Quantitatively in situ TEM Nanomechanical Tests, (Hysitron PI 95). These experiments gave campers chances to open the gate of the nano-world.
Introduction of laboratory
On the afternoon of July 7th, campers took part in an interesting interactivity experiment. Prof. Zhiwei Shan and Dr. Kai Chen comment the experiment and answer the campers’ questions.
Except academic activities, an evening party held in Diao Ke Shi Guang cafes. Campers played games, singing and dancing, everyone have a wonderful night.

On the morning of July 8th, campers visited the History Museum of Shaanxi Province. This journey finally drew a successful end to this Summer School.
