On February 22nd, 2013, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering Nanning Zheng, the president of Xi’an Jiaotong University led a group visited CAMP-Nano. The group included Prof. Nanning Zheng, Prof. Jianhua Wang (Party secretary of Xi’an Jiaotong University) , Prof. Xiaoping Song (vice president of Xi’an Jiaotong University), et al. Prof. Jun Sun, the director of State Key Laboratory for Mechanical Behavior of Materials, and Prof. Zhiwei Shan, the executive director of CAMP-Nano accompanied them.
At the papers board of CAMP-Nano, President Nanning Zheng were listening the introduction by Prof. Zhiwei Shan carefully.
President Zheng started his visit at the papers board of CAMP-Nano. With the introduction by Prof. Shan, he got the latest development achievements and praised the contribution of CAMP-Nano for the academic construction of the University. Then he entered the graduate office and the student center, respectively. In there, he communicated with the student inside and asked their research situation carefully. Moreover, President Zheng visited the innovation workshop and listened the introduction of several experimental devices and gave some suggestions for improving the laboratory environments.
