Prof. Shou-Yi Chang visited CAMP-Nano
Shou-Yi Chang, Professor of Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National Tsing Hua University, visited CAMP-Nano and gave a presentation on his research progress of high entropy alloys (HEAS) in a seminar on the morning of Apr. 22, 2016.
Prof. Zhi-Wei Shan, Wei-Zhong Han and Zhang-Jie Wang from CAMP-Nano and Associate Professor Ying Ruan from Northwestern Polytechnical University also attended the seminar. After Dr. Shou-Yi Chang’s presentation, Prof. Zhang-Jie Wang and Long-Chao Huang, a PH.D. candidate of CAMP-Nano gave talks on their recent experimental results of the helium ion irradiation effects on CoCrFeMnNi and size/strain rate effets on mechanical behaviors of HfNbTaTiZr, respectively. Then, The attendees also had a heated discussion with the future industrialization applications.
