Congratulations to Yuecun Wang and Xiaoguang Wang for their pass of the Doctoral Dissertation Defense

Yuecun Wang and Xiaoguang Wang, both supervised by Prof. Zhiwei Shan from CAMP-Nano took their PhD thesis defense on May 24th, 2018 in room 215 of MSE building. Yuecun Wang, joining CAMP-Nano in 2013, focused on the investigations of the mechanical properties of submicrosized silicon and have published three related peer-reviewed papers by first author on Applied Physics Letters, NPG Asia Materials, and Small, respectively. Xiaoguang Wang, having obtained his master degree in Xi’an Jiaotong University, interested in the electromechanical properties of semiconductor nanowires and published a peer-reviewed paper by first author on Nano Letters.
The oral defense committee, chaired by Prof. Jun Sun, comprise Prof. Wanqi Jie, from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Prof. Zhenyu Zhang from Dalian University of Technology, and Prof. Xiangdong Ding, Prof. Fei Ma, Prof. Wei Zhang, and Prof. Suzhi Li from Xi’an Jiaotong University. Their magnificent performance was highly appreciated by the committee.
